The selection of pixel pitch (P) depends entirely on the viewing distance. For indoor command centers or high-end retail, a Fine Pitch (P0.9 to P1.5) is recommended for seamless, high-definition visuals. For larger venues like auditoriums where the audience is 5+ meters away, P2.5 to P4 offers the best balance between visual clarity and cost-efficiency. Always ensure the refresh rate is ≥3840Hz to prevent flickering on camera.

Prioritize panels with COB (Chip on Board) technology if you require high impact resistance and water/dust proofing. For LCD video walls, the ultra-narrow bezel (0.88mm to 3.5mm) is critical to minimize visual interruption. Ensure the brightness levels meet your environment: ≥500 nits for indoor and ≥5000 nits for outdoor sunlight-readable applications. Verify the use of high-quality power supplies (like Mean Well) to ensure a lifespan of 100,000 hours.

To ensure safety and legal entry into markets, products must carry CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications. For the US market, UL or ETL listing is often required for insurance and building code compliance. Additionally, check for CB certification which facilitates easier market access across multiple countries by proving adherence to IEC safety standards.

A professional setup requires a Video Processor that supports multiple inputs (HDMI, DP, SDI) and 4K @60Hz resolution. Confirm if the supplier provides centralized management software compatible with Windows/Mac. For large-scale deployments, ensure the system supports distributed architecture (IP-based) for flexible signal routing and API integration with existing control systems like Crestron or Extron.

Video walls are fragile high-value electronics. Strictly require Flight Case packaging or Plywood Crates with shock-absorption foam. Ensure the Incoterms are CIF or CIP, and verify that the insurance policy covers 'All Risks', specifically including glass breakage and electronic malfunction during transit.

Focus on the 'Golden Sample' clause: stipulate that the bulk production must match the technical performance of the approved sample. Negotiate for 3% to 5% free spare parts (modules, receiving cards, power cables) to be included in the shipment, as sourcing individual replacements later is costly and may result in batch color mismatch.

Utilize the Secured Trading services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Never release the final 30-50% balance until a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI) has verified the 'Aging Test' results—reputable suppliers must run the video wall for at least 72 hours continuously to identify dead pixels or power failures.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) or specific tariffs on electronics in your region (e.g., Section 301 in the US). Work with a freight forwarder experienced in Class 9 hazardous goods if the system includes large lithium-battery backups. For the most reliable sourcing experience, look for 'Diamond Members' and 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com to ensure factory legitimacy.
