Sexy toys manufacturers

Safety is the highest priority. You must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, TPE, or ABS plastic. Avoid materials containing phthalates, which are restricted in many regions. Request ROHS and REACH certification to ensure the absence of hazardous chemicals, and verify that the supplier complies with ISO 10993 (Biological evaluation of medical devices) for skin-contact safety.

For motorized products, prioritize lithium-ion batteries with UN38.3 certification to ensure safe transport. The motor should offer low noise levels (typically <50dB) for discretion. Furthermore, check the IPX7 waterproof rating if the product is intended for use in water, and ensure the charging interface (USB or magnetic) is durable and corrosion-resistant.

For the US market, products must comply with FDA regulations if marketed as medical devices, and electronic components must have FCC certification. For the EU market, the CE mark is mandatory, indicating compliance with health, safety, and environmental protection standards. Additionally, ensure the packaging includes clear age-restriction labels (18+) and multilingual user manuals.

Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check for surface defects, motor functionality, and battery life. A professional supplier should provide a failure rate of less than 1%. Ask for tensile strength tests for soft materials to ensure they do not tear easily under normal usage scenarios.

Customs regulations for adult products vary significantly by country. Use neutral packaging without explicit imagery or provocative text to avoid 'public decency' issues. Ensure the HS Code (typically 3926.90 or 9019.10) is declared accurately. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, work with experienced exporters who understand the specific import prohibitions of your target country (e.g., strict regulations in some Middle Eastern or Southeast Asian nations).

When requesting OEM/ODM services, clarify the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom molds versus custom packaging. Negotiate for exclusive mold rights if you are developing a unique design. Always sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect your intellectual property before sharing design files.

Always use secure payment methods provided by the sourcing platform, such as Escrow or Trade Assurance services. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. For large orders, consider a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after receiving a successful third-party inspection report.

Since most adult toys contain batteries, they are classified as 'Dangerous Goods' (DG). You should choose logistics providers specialized in DG shipping (Air or Sea). Ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Battery Declaration to prevent delays or fines during transit.
