Pvc ice wine bag manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize High-Density PVC (0.3mm to 0.5mm thickness) to ensure the bag can withstand the weight of a standard 750ml wine bottle plus ice and water without leaking. It is critical to specify Cold-Resistant PVC additives if the product will be stored in freezers, as standard PVC can become brittle and crack at low temperatures. Ensure the material is BPA-free and Phthalate-free to meet international safety standards for food-contact-adjacent products.

The most important technical feature is the High-Frequency Heat-Pressing (Ultrasonic Welding) used on the seams. Unlike traditional stitching, heat-pressed seams create a 100% watertight seal. You should request a 24-hour water leakage test report from the supplier. Additionally, verify that the handle reinforcement (either integrated die-cut or heat-sealed straps) can support at least 3kg of static load to prevent tearing during transport.

For the European market, products must comply with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) to ensure no hazardous substances are present. For the US market, compliance with California Proposition 65 regarding lead and phthalate content is essential. If the bag is marketed as a gift set with wine, ensure it meets FDA or EU Food Contact 10/2011 regulations if there is any risk of the material touching the bottle neck or cork area.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com typically offer Silk-screen printing or UV printing for logos. For high-end promotional items, consider frosted (matte) vs. transparent finishes. You can also request custom PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors for the PVC material itself if the order volume meets the supplier's MOQ (usually 3,000+ units). Reinforced bottom gussets are a recommended functional customization to allow the bag to stand upright independently on a table.

PVC products often have a 'new plastic' smell. To mitigate this, specify the use of Eco-friendly, low-odor PVC resin in your contract. Request that the supplier performs a de-gassing process (letting the products air out) before final packaging. You should also include a clause in your Purchase Order (PO) stating that products with excessive chemical odors that affect the consumer experience will be considered non-compliant.

When negotiating, focus on the Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 1k, 5k, and 10k units) to understand the supplier's margin. To ensure quality, insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com are usually willing to accept Trade Assurance or Secure Payment terms, which protect your capital until the shipping documents are verified.

PVC is sensitive to extreme heat during transit (which can cause bags to stick together). Ensure the supplier uses anti-blocking agents during production and packs the bags with tissue paper inserts between each unit to prevent ink transfer or sticking. For shipping to distant markets, choose Sea Freight with moisture-absorbent bags inside the container to prevent 'container rain' from damaging the cardboard packaging.

Check the supplier's profile on Made-in-China.com for the 'Audited Supplier' badge. Review their ISO 9001 certification and check if they have a Business License that matches their factory location. A legitimate manufacturer should be able to provide a Video Audit of their production line and heat-sealing machinery upon request.
