Plastic table price chair manufacturers

When sourcing plastic tables and chairs, prioritize High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Polypropylene (PP). HDPE is preferred for outdoor use due to its superior impact resistance and weatherability, while PP offers excellent rigidity and fatigue resistance for stackable designs. Ensure the manufacturer uses 100% virgin plastic rather than recycled materials to prevent brittleness and ensure a longer product lifespan.

Request test reports according to EN 581 (European standard for outdoor furniture) or BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) standards. For commercial use, chairs should have a minimum static load capacity of 150kg (approx. 330 lbs). Look for reinforced ribbing under the seat and table surface, and ensure the legs have non-slip, anti-wear foot pads to prevent floor damage and tipping.

To prevent fading and cracking under sunlight, specify a UV-stabilizer rating of at least UV8 or higher. The material should pass the ISO 4892-2 Xenon-arc exposure test, ensuring the color remains stable for at least 2,000 to 3,000 hours of direct sunlight. This is critical for maintaining the aesthetic value and structural integrity of the furniture in tropical or high-UV regions.

Ensure all products are BPA-free and comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations regarding lead and phthalate content. If the furniture is intended for schools or children, it must meet EN 71-3 safety standards. Always verify that the supplier holds an ISO 9001:2015 certification to guarantee consistent manufacturing processes.

Plastic furniture is often bulky, leading to high freight costs. Prioritize stackable chair designs and knock-down (KD) table structures to maximize container utilization. Aim for a high nesting ratio to fit more units per CBM. When sourcing via Made-in-China.com, use the 'Freight Calculator' tools to compare FOB vs. CIF terms, as FOB often allows you better control over local logistics costs.

Since plastic prices are tied to crude oil market fluctuations, negotiate a price validity period (e.g., 30-60 days) to protect against sudden raw material spikes. For bulk orders exceeding 1,000 units, aim for a 10-15% volume discount. Discuss mold ownership if you require custom designs; high-volume buyers can often negotiate for the supplier to amortize the mold cost over the first few large orders.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments until the goods are shipped. Always arrange for a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek. The inspector should check for flash/burrs (sharp edges), color consistency, and perform a drop test to ensure the plastic does not shatter upon impact.

The primary risk is material substitution, where a supplier mixes regrind (recycled) plastic with virgin resin to lower costs, resulting in brittle products. Another risk is warpage during transit if the container gets too hot. Mitigate this by requiring moisture-absorbent bags in the container and ensuring the packaging (corrugated cartons or shrink wrap) is robust enough to prevent deformation under pressure.
