Non woven fabric machine manufacturers

Selecting the correct machine depends on the intended application of the fabric. For medical and hygiene products like face masks and surgical gowns, prioritize Spunbond (S), Meltblown (M), or SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) composite lines. If you are producing filtration materials or oil absorbents, a high-precision Meltblown machine is essential. For industrial geotextiles or synthetic leather bases, Needle Punching machines are the industry standard. Ensure the machine supports the specific GSM (Grams per Square Meter) range required for your target market.

Buyers must verify the effective door width (trim width), typically ranging from 1.6m to 3.2m, and the production speed (m/min). Ensure the machine is equipped with a PLC control system (such as Siemens or Mitsubishi) for automated tension control and temperature precision. Compliance with CE marking (European Conformity) and ISO 9001:2015 is mandatory for international trade. Additionally, check the screw diameter and L/D ratio of the extruder to ensure consistent polymer melting and fabric uniformity.

Non-woven production is energy-intensive. Look for machines featuring inverter-controlled motors and optimized heating systems that can reduce power consumption by 15-20%. Ask the supplier for the total installed power versus actual running power ratio. To optimize long-term costs, choose suppliers who provide wear-resistant spinnerets and high-quality rollers, as these components significantly impact maintenance frequency and downtime.

Due to the technical complexity, prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who offer overseas installation, commissioning, and staff training. Ensure the contract includes a guaranteed response time for technical faults (ideally <24 hours) and a comprehensive spare parts list (e.g., heaters, sensors, and filters) that are readily available. Remote diagnostic capabilities via IoT modules are a significant advantage for troubleshooting without waiting for an on-site technician.

The biggest risks include damage during maritime transit and non-compliance with local electrical standards. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum packaging and anti-rust coating for precision rollers and electronic cabinets. Always specify the voltage and frequency (e.g., 380V/50Hz vs 460V/60Hz) of your destination country in the contract to avoid costly transformer retrofits upon arrival.

For high-value machinery, use a staged payment structure: typically 30% as a down payment, 60% after successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and before shipment, and 10% after installation and final commissioning. Utilize Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. Never release the final payment until the machine has reached the guaranteed production capacity and fabric quality specified in the technical agreement.

Non-woven machines usually require multiple 40HC (High Cube) containers or Flat Rack containers for oversized components like the main frame or drying cylinders. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder who understands heavy machinery handling, or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) if you want the supplier to manage the risk until the port of destination. Ensure comprehensive marine insurance is purchased, covering 110% of the invoice value.
