Nissan flywheel manufacturers

When selecting a flywheel, you must first identify the type: Single Mass Flywheel (SMF) for durability and racing, or Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) for vibration dampening and comfort. Key specs include the Ring Gear Tooth Count (must match the starter motor), Bolt Hole Pattern (e.g., 6-bolt or 8-bolt configurations for specific Nissan engines like the VQ35 or SR20), and Dynamic Balance Grade. Ensure the material is High-Tensile Billet Steel or Nodular Cast Iron to prevent bursting under high RPM.

Compatibility is best verified using the OEM Part Number (e.g., 12310-XXXXX). You should request the supplier to provide a Cross-Reference Table for engine codes (such as QR25DE, VR38DETT, or YD25). For aftermarket performance upgrades, confirm the Clutch Pressure Plate Mounting Diameter to ensure the flywheel and clutch kit interface correctly.

Reliable manufacturers should hold ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certifications, which are the gold standards for automotive quality management. For high-performance or racing flywheels, look for SFI 1.1 Certification, which guarantees the product has been tested to withstand extreme rotational speeds without structural failure.

Dual Mass Flywheels are typically used in Passenger Cars and SUVs (like the Nissan Qashqai or X-Trail) to reduce drivetrain noise and vibration. Single Mass Flywheels are preferred for Commercial Vehicles (like the Nissan NV350) due to their longevity, and for Performance Tuning (like the 370Z or GT-R) to allow for faster engine revving and improved throttle response.

Always request a sample for fitment testing before placing a bulk order. Utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on weight consistency, surface finish, and gear teeth integrity. Ensure the supplier provides a Material Analysis Report to verify the steel grade.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for instance, aim for a 15-20% discount when moving from LCL (Less than Container Load) to FCL (Full Container Load). Negotiate a Warranty Period of at least 12 months or 30,000 km. Ask for 'White Label' packaging options if you are a brand owner to increase your retail margin.

Flywheels are heavy and dense, making Sea Freight the most economical option for bulk orders. Ensure the supplier uses Anti-Rust Oil coating and VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) packaging to prevent oxidation during long sea voyages. Verify the HS Code (typically 8483.50) with your local customs to calculate accurate import duties and ensure compliance with regional automotive safety regulations.

Use Secure Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown accounts. For large-scale enterprise procurement, consider using a Letter of Credit (L/C) to balance the risk between the buyer and the seller.
