Mink eyelash extensions manufacturers

Real mink lashes are sourced from mink tail hair, offering a highly natural, matte finish and a lightweight feel, but they require manual curling and are not cruelty-free. Faux mink (synthetic PBT fiber) is the industry standard for B2B sourcing because it is vegan-friendly, maintains its curl shape longer, and offers superior consistency in thickness and length across bulk orders.

Buyers must specify the Curl Type (J, B, C, D, CC, U), Thickness (ranging from 0.03mm for volume to 0.20mm for classic), and Length (typically 7mm to 20mm). For high-end markets, prioritize tapered ends that mimic natural hair and foil-backed strips that allow for easy removal from lash tiles without leaving sticky residue.

Ensure the synthetic fibers are hypoallergenic and free from heavy metals. If sourcing kits that include glue, the adhesive must have an SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and comply with REACH (EU) or FDA (US) regulations regarding formaldehyde and cyanoacrylate levels to prevent chemical burns or allergic reactions.

Request a pre-shipment inspection focusing on curl stability (testing if the curl drops under heat), strip stickiness (ensuring lashes don't fall off or stick too hard), and uniformity. A high-quality supplier will have a variance of less than 0.5mm in length across a single tray.

The primary risks include inconsistent curl batches and packaging damage during transit. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service to ensure payment is only released after quality verification. Always request double-walled corrugated boxes and internal padding to prevent the delicate acrylic lash cases from cracking.

Most professional lash manufacturers offer OEM/ODM services with an MOQ of 50-100 trays per size. Negotiate for free logo design or a reduction in plate-making fees for long-term partnerships. Ensure you own the source files for the packaging design to maintain brand consistency if you switch suppliers later.

Since eyelashes are lightweight but high-volume, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is usually the best choice, offering a balance of speed (3-5 days) and safety. For larger sea freight orders, calculate the Volumetric Weight carefully, as the lightweight plastic trays occupy significant space, which can lead to higher-than-expected shipping costs.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Audit Reports on Made-in-China.com. Look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek. Avoid direct wire transfers to personal accounts; always use official corporate accounts linked to the platform's secure payment gateway.
