I have found results from400+products and200+suppliers aboutLiquid level relay
When sourcing liquid level relays, you must prioritize sensitivity adjustment ranges, typically between 5kΩ to 100kΩ, to ensure the device can detect different liquid conductivities. Verify the contact capacity, usually 5A/250VAC, to ensure it can handle the load of your pumps or solenoid valves. Additionally, check for response time delays (e.g., 0.1s to 10s) which are critical to prevent pump chattering caused by surface waves or turbulence.
For the European market, ensure the product carries the CE mark and complies with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and EMC Directive. For North American exports, UL or CSA certification is highly recommended for safety assurance. Furthermore, ensure the housing material meets UL94V-0 flame retardancy standards and the device complies with RoHS for hazardous substance restriction.
The choice of electrode/probe is vital for longevity. For non-corrosive water, standard stainless steel (SUS304/316) probes are sufficient. However, for acidic or alkaline liquids, you must source probes with specialized coatings or titanium construction. For high-temperature applications, ensure the probe insulation can withstand temperatures exceeding 100°C without degrading.
Look for relays that support DIN-rail mounting (35mm) for easy integration into standard control panels. Professional-grade units should feature LED status indicators for power and relay action to facilitate rapid troubleshooting. For complex systems, prioritize models that offer dual-level control (High/Low) with a single unit to optimize cabinet space and reduce wiring costs.
Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) or a third-party factory audit. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone verified on-site inspections. Request a sample testing report and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the internal relay components to ensure they are not using refurbished parts.
Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a longer warranty period (e.g., 18-24 months) to demonstrate the supplier's confidence in their quality. For bulk orders, aim for a 10-15% discount when exceeding 500 units, and clarify that the price includes export-standard seaworthy packaging to prevent moisture damage during transit.
Relays contain sensitive mechanical parts; therefore, ensure the supplier uses anti-static packaging and shock-absorbent foam. For sea freight, specify the use of desiccant silica gel packs inside the master cartons to prevent oxidation of contact points due to high humidity in shipping containers. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder to maintain better control over the logistics chain.
Utilize Secured Payment services provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; always ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the Proforma Invoice and the business license.
