Keyboard case for ipad manufacturers

When sourcing, prioritize Bluetooth 5.0 or higher for stable connectivity and low latency. Ensure the battery capacity is at least 450mAh, providing over 100 hours of working time and 90 days of standby. For the typing experience, look for scissor-switch structures with a key travel of 1.2mm to 1.5mm. Additionally, verify that the trackpad supports multi-touch gestures compatible with iPadOS to ensure a seamless laptop-like experience.

You must confirm the exact model numbers (e.g., A2228, A2068) the case fits, as iPad dimensions vary slightly between generations. For compliance, the product must have CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications to be sold in Western markets. If the case uses magnets for attachment (Magic Keyboard style), ensure they are N52 grade neodymium magnets to prevent the tablet from slipping.

For premium markets, PU leather with a microfiber lining is the standard for scratch resistance and a professional feel. For rugged environments, look for TPU edges with honeycomb heat dissipation designs. Ensure the hinge mechanism is tested for at least 20,000 cycles to prevent loosening over time, which is a common quality complaint in cheaper models.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer laser-engraved keyboard layouts for different languages (AZERTY, QWERTZ, etc.). You should also negotiate custom silk-screen logos on the back cover and customized retail packaging. For high-end orders, ask about 7-color adjustable backlighting and programmable shortcut keys as value-added features.

Always arrange for a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party. Specifically, request a Functionality Test on a 5% random sample to check Bluetooth pairing, key responsiveness, and charging ports. Using Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com provides a safety net for your payment until the goods are verified.

Start by requesting a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 100, 500, 1000 units). Many suppliers offer a sample fee rebate where the cost of the sample is deducted from your first bulk order. To lower the MOQ for customized logos, suggest using sticker labels or laser engraving instead of molded logos, which require expensive tooling.

Since keyboard cases contain built-in batteries, they are classified as UN3481 Dangerous Goods. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 Test Report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). For small to medium batches, Air Freight via specialized battery lines is fastest, while Sea Freight (LCL) is more economical for volumes exceeding 2 CBM, provided the forwarder is licensed for battery transport.

Ensure the supplier's design does not infringe on Apple's patents, particularly the magnetic cantilever hinge if it mimics the Magic Keyboard exactly. Look for suppliers who have their own utility model patents or offer 'neutral' designs. Always clarify that the product is a 'Third-Party Accessory compatible with iPad' in all marketing and customs documentation to avoid trademark infringement.
