Kamaz fuel pump manufacturers

When sourcing fuel pumps for Kamaz trucks, you must prioritize compatibility with specific engine models (e.g., Kamaz 740 series). Key technical parameters include the injection pressure (bar), fuel flow rate (L/h), and plunger diameter. Ensure the pump features high-grade alloy steel components to withstand high-pressure cycles and anti-corrosive coatings for durability against varying fuel qualities. For electronic systems, verify the ECU compatibility and sensor integration.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949:2016 certifications, which are the gold standards for automotive quality management. Additionally, look for EAC (Eurasian Conformity) certification, as Kamaz vehicles are predominantly used in markets requiring this mark. Products should undergo 100% bench testing for leakage, pressure stability, and delivery volume before shipment to ensure OEM-level performance.

High-quality pumps utilize precision-ground plungers and barrels with clearances measured in microns. Check for clear laser-etched part numbers and brand logos rather than cast-in markings. Request material composition reports for the internal springs and valves; premium suppliers use fatigue-resistant spring steel that maintains tension over millions of cycles, preventing engine misfires or power loss.

Kamaz fuel pumps are designed for heavy-duty logistics, construction, and mining environments. Given these harsh conditions, the pump must be compatible with fuel filtration systems that remove particles down to 3-5 microns. Maintenance guidance should include regular calibration every 100,000 km and the use of high-quality fuel to prevent cavitation and plunger scoring.

The main risks include technical mismatch and damage during transit. Because Kamaz has many iterations, a slight variation in the mounting flange or drive gear can render the part useless. To mitigate this, always provide the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or the OEM part number (e.g., 337- series) to the supplier for double-verification. Ensure the use of VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) packaging to prevent rust during sea freight.

Focus on Tiered Pricing and Warranty Terms. For orders exceeding 50 units, aim for a 15-20% discount off the sample price. Negotiate a warranty period of at least 12 months, and clarify who bears the shipping cost for defective returns. Requesting a factory video audit or a third-party inspection (like SGS or Intertek) before final payment is a standard professional practice to ensure quality consistency.

Since Kamaz is a Russian brand, ensure the supplier is familiar with EAC documentation and Customs Union technical regulations. For shipping, rail freight (China-Europe Railway Express) is often more cost-effective and faster than sea freight for heavy mechanical parts. Ensure all HS Codes (typically 8413.30) are correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect tariff applications.

Always utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the goods are shipped. Avoid direct transfers to private accounts. For large-scale procurement, use Letters of Credit (L/C) or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with a deposit (e.g., 30%) and the balance paid only after receiving the Bill of Lading (B/L) and a successful pre-shipment inspection report.
