Insecticide fipronil manufacturers

When sourcing Fipronil, the Technical Grade (TC) typically requires a purity of ≥95% or ≥97%. For formulated products, common concentrations include 5% SC (Suspension Concentrate), 80% WDG (Water Dispersible Granules), and 0.05% Gel baits. Buyers must verify the CAS No. 120068-37-3 and request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to ensure the active ingredient levels and impurity profiles meet international standards.

Fipronil is a highly regulated chemical. Suppliers must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Technical Data Sheet (TDS). For cross-border trade, ensure the manufacturer complies with FAO/WHO specifications. Depending on the destination, you may need EPA registration (USA), REACH compliance (EU), or specific pesticide registration certificates from the local Ministry of Agriculture. Always check if the product is subject to PIC (Prior Informed Consent) under the Rotterdam Convention.

Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to the phenylpyrazole chemical family. It is highly effective for crop protection (rice, corn, potatoes), public health (cockroach and ant gel baits), and veterinary medicine (flea and tick control for pets). Its primary advantage is its non-repellent nature and 'domino effect', which allows treated insects to return to the colony and spread the toxin, leading to total colony elimination.

High-quality Fipronil should have a shelf life of at least 2 years when stored under cool, dry conditions. Buyers should inquire about accelerated storage stability tests (usually 14 days at 54°C) to ensure the formulation does not undergo phase separation or active ingredient degradation. For WDG formulations, check the disintegration time and suspension rate to ensure efficacy during field application.

Fipronil is classified as a Class 9 Dangerous Good (UN3077/UN3082) due to its environmental toxicity. It requires UN-approved packaging and specialized labeling. When shipping from China, ensure the supplier provides a Dangerous Goods Transport Package Use Appraisal Report. For cost-efficiency, FCL (Full Container Load) is preferred over LCL to avoid contamination risks with other goods.

To secure your investment, use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect payments until delivery is confirmed. Conduct third-party factory audits (e.g., SGS or Intertek) to verify the supplier's production capacity and environmental compliance. Avoid paying via untraceable methods; always use Letter of Credit (L/C) or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with clearly defined milestones.

Negotiations should focus on volume-based pricing tiers; typically, orders exceeding 1,000kg for TC or 5,000L for SC can yield a 10-15% discount. Discuss customized packaging (OEM) early, as small bottle filling (e.g., 100ml) increases labor costs compared to 200L drums. Request a pre-shipment sample from the actual production lot to be sealed and kept for comparison upon arrival.

Be aware that Fipronil faces usage restrictions or bans in certain regions (e.g., EU bans for outdoor agricultural use to protect bees). Before importing, verify the Harmonized System (HS) Code (typically 3808.91) and check for any anti-dumping duties or specific import quotas in your country. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential Free Trade Agreement (FTA) tariff reductions.
