Gummy candy factory manufacturers

When sourcing a gummy candy factory line, you must evaluate the production capacity (kg/h), ranging from small-scale (50-150kg/h) to industrial-scale (500kg/h+). Key components include the jacketed dissolving tank for sugar melting, the PLC-controlled depositing machine for precise dosing, and the cooling tunnel. Ensure the equipment uses food-grade Stainless Steel 304 or 316 to prevent corrosion and maintain hygiene standards.

For cross-border procurement, verify that the machinery carries CE certification for the European market or meets UL/FDA standards for the US. It is critical to confirm that the supplier adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Request documentation for BPA-free silicone molds and ensure the electrical components (like Siemens or Schneider) are compatible with your local voltage and frequency (e.g., 110V/60Hz or 380V/50Hz).

Look for a fully automatic PLC touch screen system that allows for recipe storage and precise control over temperature and timing. Advanced lines should include automatic oil/acid/flavor/color injection systems to ensure consistency across batches. Servo-driven depositors are preferred over mechanical ones for higher accuracy and reduced waste.

A gummy factory requires a controlled humidity environment (usually <45%) in the drying room to prevent sticking. You will need auxiliary equipment such as an air compressor, a steam generator or thermal oil heater, and a dehumidification system. Ensure the supplier provides a factory layout design to optimize the workflow and meet local health department regulations.

Always conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). You can hire third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek to perform a Fat (Factory Acceptance Test). Request a video of the machine running with actual ingredients before final payment. On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone verified on-site inspections.

Do not just negotiate on the sticker price; negotiate for spare parts packages (e.g., extra nozzles, seals, and molds) and extended warranties (ideally 2 years). Clarify the Incoterms—while FOB is common, for heavy machinery, ensure you understand the costs of crating and vacuum-sealing for sea freight to prevent rust during transit.

Confirm if the supplier provides overseas installation services or remote video guidance. In the contract, specify that the supplier must provide English-language manuals and wiring diagrams. Ask about the availability of local technicians or the response time for sending replacement parts via air express to minimize downtime.

Machinery must be packed in fumigated wooden cases to comply with international shipping laws. Ensure the equipment is securely bolted to the base of the crate and treated with anti-rust oil. For full production lines, you will likely need a 20ft or 40ft container (FCL); ensure the supplier provides a detailed loading plan to maximize space and prevent shifting during sea transit.
