Grass wire fence manufacturers

When evaluating Grass Wire Fence (also known as Artificial Hedge Fence), you must focus on the core wire diameter and the UV stabilization of the PVC/PE grass. The inner wire should ideally be galvanized steel (1.6mm to 3.0mm) to prevent rust, while the artificial grass must be UV-resistant to prevent fading and brittleness under sun exposure. Ensure the density of the grass needles is sufficient to provide the required privacy level (usually 80-95% opacity).

For the European market, ensure the product complies with REACH regulations to guarantee no harmful chemicals are present in the plastic. For North America, ASTM standards for weather resistance and flame retardancy certifications (such as UL94 or NFPA 701) are highly recommended, especially for commercial installations or use in high-temperature regions.

Request a Salt Spray Test report for the galvanized wire to check for corrosion resistance and an Accelerated Weathering Test (QUV) for the grass fibers. A high-quality Grass Wire Fence should have a lifespan of 5 to 10 years depending on environmental conditions. Always ask for samples to check the 'shedding rate' of the grass needles when handled.

These fences are widely used for residential privacy screening, garden decoration, and commercial site hoarding. For installation, verify if the supplier provides matching PVC-coated binding wires or specialized clips. The fence should be flexible enough to be installed on curved surfaces without the grass backing cracking.

The biggest risk is volume-to-weight ratio discrepancies. Grass wire fences are bulky; if not compressed correctly, shipping costs can exceed the product value. Another risk is color inconsistency between batches. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify color matching and roll dimensions.

Focus on container utilization. Ask the supplier how many rolls can fit into a 40HC container using vacuum compression or optimized stacking. Negotiate based on GSM (Grams per Square Meter) rather than just price per roll to ensure you are comparing like-for-like quality. For long-term partnerships, request tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 5-10% as your annual volume increases.

Check the HS Code (typically under Chapter 39 for plastics or Chapter 73 for iron/steel wire) to determine the exact import duties in your country. Because these items are bulky, Sea Freight (FCL) is the only economical method. Ensure the supplier provides a Clean Bill of Lading and clearly marks the UV-protection warranty on the commercial invoice to assist with quality claims if the product fails prematurely.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification through the Audit Reports available on Made-in-China.com. Use Escrow-based payment terms where funds are only released upon confirmation of shipping documents. Avoid using non-traceable payment methods for initial deposits.
