Extract powder quercetin rutin manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) testing results to verify purity. For Quercetin, the industry standard is typically ≥95% or ≥98% purity. For Rutin, ensure it meets NF11, DAB10, or EP (European Pharmacopoeia) standards. Pay close attention to the mesh size (usually 80-100 mesh) to ensure optimal solubility and bioavailability for your specific application, whether it be capsules, tablets, or functional beverages.

To ensure market access and consumer safety, suppliers must provide ISO 22000 or HACCP for food safety management. For the US market, FDA registration and FSVP compliance are essential. If targeting health-conscious segments, verify Organic (USDA or EU), Kosher, and Halal certifications. Additionally, a comprehensive COA (Certificate of Analysis) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) must accompany every batch to detail heavy metal limits (Lead <0.5ppm) and microbiological counts.

Confirm that the Quercetin/Rutin is derived from high-quality raw materials like Sophora japonica (Japanese Pagoda Tree). Inquire about the extraction solvent; ethanol extraction is generally preferred over methanol to ensure low solvent residue and higher safety profiles. Request a Plant DNA Identification report or a TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography) fingerprint to prevent adulteration with synthetic alternatives or inferior botanical species.

Quercetin and Rutin are sensitive to light and moisture. Ensure the supplier uses double-layer PE bags inside fiber drums with vacuum sealing. The product should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark environment. Ask for stability testing data to confirm a shelf life of at least 24 months, and ensure the packaging includes desiccants if shipping to high-humidity regions.

Implement a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the quality is verified. Always keep a sealed 'gold sample' from the initial batch to serve as a legal benchmark for comparison against the bulk delivery.

Pricing for botanical extracts fluctuates based on raw material harvest seasons. It is wise to sign annual supply contracts to lock in prices. For new buyers, negotiate a tiered MOQ—starting with a 1kg-5kg sample order at a higher unit price, with a formal agreement that the sample cost will be credited back upon the first bulk order of 100kg or more.

For quantities under 100kg, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is recommended for its speed and superior climate control. For larger volumes, Air Freight offers a balance of cost and safety. Ensure the Incoterms are clearly defined as CIF or DAP to ensure the supplier handles the complex export customs clearance for sensitive biological powders, which often require specific 'Non-Dangerous Goods' declarations.

Conduct all communications and payments through verified channels on Made-in-China.com. Before sharing proprietary formulations or custom specifications, require the supplier to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Verify the supplier's Audit Reports on the platform to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer and not an unregulated middleman.
