Double six dominoes set manufacturers

B2B buyers should prioritize Urea-Formaldehyde (UF) resin or high-density melamine over cheap plastics. These materials provide the authentic 'clack' sound, superior weight, and resistance to chipping. Ensure the tiles have a uniform thickness and polished finish to prevent 'marking' (where players can identify tiles by surface defects).

For the US market, products must comply with ASTM F963 (Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety) and CPSIA lead and phthalate limits. For the EU, EN71 Parts 1, 2, and 3 certification is essential, along with the CE Mark. If the set includes a wooden box, ensure the wood is FSC-certified and treated according to ISPM 15 for international shipping.

The pips should be deeply recessed and paint-filled rather than just surface-printed to ensure they do not fade after heavy use. If the set includes a brass spinner (pivot) in the center, verify it is perfectly centered and rounded to allow for smooth shuffling without scratching the table or other tiles.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer silk-screen printing, laser engraving, or heat-transfer printing on the back of the tiles. For high-end corporate gifts, consider custom-molded logos or bespoke packaging such as genuine leather cases, tin boxes, or engraved wooden sliding-lid boxes.

The most common risk is weight inconsistency and color variance between production batches. A set that is too light feels 'cheap' to consumers. Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify that the total set weight matches the approved sample and that there are no scratches or black spots on the white resin.

Standard MOQs usually range from 500 to 1,000 sets. To optimize costs, negotiate based on packaging complexity; choosing a standard cardboard box instead of a wooden one can reduce the unit price by 15-25%. For large orders, aim for FOB terms to maintain control over your logistics costs.

Because dominoes are high-density and heavy items, air freight is prohibitively expensive. Sea freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical method. Ensure the supplier uses double-walled corrugated export cartons and palletizes the load to prevent the heavy boxes from bursting during transit.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Never wire the full amount upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is the industry norm. Verify the supplier's Audit Reports to confirm their factory's production capacity.
