Cement mill liner plate manufacturers

The choice of material is critical for durability. You should prioritize High Manganese Steel (Mn13, Mn13Cr2) for high-impact zones or High Chromium Cast Iron (Cr15, Cr20, Cr26) for superior wear resistance in grinding stages. For specific applications, Alloy Steel or Rubber Liners may be used to reduce noise and weight. Ensure the Hardness (HRC) levels meet your specific milling requirements, typically ranging from HRC 45 to 60 depending on the alloy.

Compatibility depends on precise measurements and design. You must provide the supplier with detailed CAD drawings or specific dimensions including plate thickness, bolt hole spacing, and curvature radius. It is essential to verify the Liner Profile (e.g., wave, stepped, or flat) to ensure it matches your mill's lifting requirements and optimizes the grinding efficiency of the media.

To ensure safety and longevity, confirm that the manufacturer adheres to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. Request Material Test Reports (MTRs) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) results to check for internal defects like blowholes or cracks. Compliance with ASTM A532 for abrasion-resistant cast irons is a standard benchmark for international B2B procurement.

Service life varies by material and mill conditions, but high-quality liners should last between 6 months to 2 years. You should look for suppliers who provide wear rate analysis. Maintenance is simplified if the supplier offers Easy-to-Install bolt systems and consistent casting quality that prevents premature breakage, which could lead to costly unscheduled downtime.

Always conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) through a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. Focus on Chemical Composition Analysis (Spectrometer test) and Dimensional Accuracy. For large orders, sourcing via Made-in-China.com allows you to select Audited Suppliers who have undergone rigorous on-site factory verifications.

Pricing for liner plates is often tied to the Global Steel Index. Negotiate based on price per ton rather than just price per piece. For custom molds, expect a Tooling Fee, but negotiate for this to be refunded once a certain volume (e.g., 50-100 tons) is reached. Standard MOQs usually start at 1 to 5 tons due to casting furnace capacities.

Liner plates are extremely heavy and prone to surface rust during sea transit. Ensure the contract specifies Anti-rust coating/oil and Seaworthy packaging (e.g., reinforced steel crates or fumigated wooden pallets). Use FOB or CIF incoterms to clearly define the point of risk transfer, and ensure the container is floor-loaded and braced to prevent shifting during transit.

Utilize Escrow services or Letter of Credit (L/C) for large-scale transactions to ensure payment is only released upon verification of shipping documents. When sourcing from China, look for the Diamond Member status on Made-in-China.com to identify established exporters with a proven track record of transaction security.
