Small tire shredder price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by the motor power (typically 7.5kW to 30kW) and the blade material. High-quality shredders use D2 or SKD-11 alloy steel blades which are vacuum heat-treated for longevity. You should also verify the shredding chamber size and the final output particle size (e.g., 20mm-50mm) to ensure it meets your recycling requirements.

For cross-border procurement, prioritize machines with CE Certification for the European market or UL-listed components for North America. Ensure the supplier provides an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing process. Additionally, check for noise control features and dust suppression systems to meet local environmental regulations.

Small tire shredders are ideal for low-volume recycling centers, car repair shops, or laboratory testing. They typically handle passenger car tires (not OTR or truck tires) with a capacity ranging from 300kg to 1000kg per hour. If you need to process steel-wire reinforced tires, ensure the machine has a dual-shaft design with high torque.

Beyond the initial price, consider the blade sharpening cycle and replacement costs. Look for designs that allow for easy blade removal without dismantling the entire shaft. Regular lubrication of the heavy-duty bearings and monitoring the planetary gearbox oil levels are essential to prevent costly downtime.

Always look for the 'Audited Supplier' badge. Review the Audit Report provided by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas, which confirms the factory's existence, production capacity, and quality control systems. Request a live video factory tour to see the specific tire shredder model in operation.

Negotiate based on Total Landed Cost. Ask for a discount on wearing parts (blades and screens) to be included in the initial container. For payment, use Letter of Credit (L/C) or Escrow services to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Aim for a 12-24 month warranty period with guaranteed spare parts availability.

Industrial shredders are heavy and prone to rust during sea transit. Insist on vacuum packaging or anti-rust oil coating, and ensure the machine is securely bolted to a steel pallet inside the container. Use CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms if you want the seller to handle insurance, but FOB is preferred if you have a reliable freight forwarder to manage customs clearance.

Never transfer the full balance before a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Hire a third-party inspector to verify the motor brand, blade hardness, and trial run performance using actual tire samples. Ensure all technical manuals and electrical diagrams are provided in English before the machine leaves the factory.
