B2B buyers must prioritize medical-grade silicone, which is non-porous and hypoallergenic. Ensure products are phthalate-free and BPA-free to prevent skin irritation or chemical leaching. Request SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and verify compliance with REACH (EU) or FDA (US) food-grade contact standards for all internal-use items.

For rechargeable or battery-operated devices, you must verify CE (Europe), FCC (USA), and RoHS compliance to ensure electromagnetic compatibility and the absence of hazardous substances. Additionally, ensure the UN38.3 certification is available for lithium batteries to facilitate legal and safe air/sea transport.

Look for an IPX7 rating, which guarantees the device can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. This is a key selling point for hygiene and versatility. Avoid suppliers who claim 'waterproof' without a formal IP (Ingress Protection) test report.

Focus on motor decibel levels (should be <50dB for discretion) and battery cycle life (minimum 300-500 charge cycles). For app-controlled devices, ensure the software is compatible with both iOS and Android and that the supplier provides regular firmware updates to maintain connectivity.

Different countries have varying regulations regarding 'obscene' materials. Use neutral packaging and ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is correctly declared. Avoid explicit imagery on outer shipping cartons. Consult with a customs broker to ensure the specific design does not violate local decency laws in conservative markets.

Conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) focusing on the 'Functionality Test' (vibration modes, charging) and 'Smell Test' (strong chemical odors indicate low-quality plastics). Use third-party inspectors to verify that the bulk production matches the approved gold sample in terms of texture and motor strength.

The industry standard for defect rates is below 1%. Negotiate a 1-year replacement warranty or a 1-2% spare parts allowance (extra units) included in the shipment to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) items. This is more cost-effective than shipping individual replacements back to the factory.

Utilize Secure Payment services on reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. For logistics, choose discreet shipping methods and ensure the provider is experienced in handling Class 9 Dangerous Goods if the products contain built-in lithium batteries.
