Original new mobile phone manufacturers

To ensure products are genuine, buyers must request IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) lists for verification against manufacturer databases. Authentic 'Original New' devices should come in factory-sealed retail packaging with untampered security seals. It is critical to cross-reference the Model Number (e.g., LL/A for US, CH/A for China) to ensure the hardware matches the intended region and has not been refurbished or activated prior to sale.

Buyers must verify that the devices support the specific 4G/5G LTE bands used by carriers in the destination country. Ensure the phones are Factory Unlocked (Sim-Free) and not restricted by software locks (MDM) or carrier contracts. For global markets, prioritize models with Global ROM or Multi-language support and confirm the inclusion of Google Mobile Services (GMS) if required, as some regional versions may lack these features.

Mobile phones must meet stringent safety and radio frequency standards. For the US market, FCC certification is mandatory; for the EU, CE marking and RoHS compliance are required. Additionally, ensure the lithium batteries have UN38.3 certification and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) to comply with international air and sea freight safety regulations for hazardous materials.

Since international manufacturer warranties often do not cover 'parallel imports,' you should negotiate a 1% to 2% spare parts allowance or a replacement policy for Dead on Arrival (DOA) units. Establish a clear RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process with the supplier, defining who bears the shipping costs for defective units. Top-tier suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide their own 1-year hardware warranty to bridge the gap.

The most significant risks include receiving 'renewed' or 'C-grade' stock disguised as new, and transaction fraud. To mitigate this, always use Secure Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com, which hold funds in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Never wire large sums via unprotected channels for first-time orders.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers; for mobile phones, margins are slim, so discounts usually trigger at 100, 500, and 1,000 units. Instead of just price, negotiate for bundled accessories (tempered glass, cases) or subsidized express shipping (DHL/FedEx). Requesting a video inspection of the specific batch and serial numbers before final payment is a powerful leverage tool.

Mobile phones contain lithium batteries, classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You must use a freight forwarder experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling. Ensure the outer cartons have the Lithium Battery Warning Label. For high-value shipments, purchasing cargo insurance (typically 0.3% of invoice value) is non-negotiable to protect against theft or damage during transit.

Accurate documentation is key. Ensure the Commercial Invoice clearly states the HS Code (typically 8517.13), unit price, and total value. Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties or specific telecom taxes in your country. Using a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping method can simplify the process for buyers, as the seller handles all taxes and customs formalities.
