Neocube ball magnet manufacturers

When purchasing Neocube ball magnets (typically NdFeB), you must prioritize Magnetic Grade (e.g., N35, N38, N42). Higher grades offer stronger magnetic force but may be more brittle. The Coating Quality is critical; look for Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel-Copper-Nickel) electroplating to prevent corrosion and skin irritation. Additionally, ensure Dimensional Tolerance is within ±0.05mm to ensure the spheres align perfectly in complex geometric structures.

Due to the high risk of ingestion, Neocubes are strictly regulated. For the US market, they must comply with ASTM F963-17 and CPSC safety requirements. For the EU, EN71 Part 1, 2, and 3 certifications are mandatory, along with CE Marking. You must verify that the Flux Index is less than 50 kG²mm² if marketed as a toy, or ensure they are strictly labeled as 'Adult Desk Toys/Puzzles' for ages 14+ to avoid customs seizures.

Request a Salt Spray Test report (typically 24-48 hours) to verify the coating's resistance to oxidation. You should also ask for a Hysteresis Graph (Demagnetization Curve) to confirm the magnetic properties match the advertised grade. For physical performance, perform a Drop Test on samples to check for chipping, as low-quality Neocubes shatter easily upon impact.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer customization in Diameter (3mm, 5mm, 7mm are standard) and Color (using Epoxy or Electroplating). Beyond the product, Custom Packaging (such as embossed tin boxes or velvet bags) and Instruction Manuals are vital for retail-ready sourcing to enhance brand value and provide necessary safety warnings.

Magnets are classified as 'Dangerous Goods' for air freight because they can interfere with aircraft navigation systems. You must ensure the supplier provides a Magnetic Inspection Report and uses Magnetic Shielding Packaging (iron sheets and foam) to pass airline security. For sea freight, ensure the containers are kept away from electronic equipment.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until delivery. To ensure consistency, hire a Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agency to conduct a Random Sampling Inspection at the factory before the final balance is paid, focusing specifically on sphere count per set and coating uniformity.

Focus your negotiations on Coating Thickness and Material Grade rather than just the lowest price. A common pitfall is receiving N30 grade when N35 was ordered. Request that the Proforma Invoice (PI) explicitly states the Magnetic Grade, Coating Layers, and Flux Density. For large volumes, negotiate a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 5-10% as you move from 500 to 2,000 sets.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties that some regions may apply to rare-earth magnets from specific countries. Always check the HS Code (typically 8505.11) against your local tariff schedule. Furthermore, ensure your supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from any applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that could reduce import taxes.
