Name of the biscuits manufacturers

When sourcing biscuits, you must prioritize suppliers with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and ISO 22000 certifications to ensure food safety management. For specific markets, look for FDA registration (USA), EFSA compliance (EU), or Halal/Kosher certifications if targeting niche consumer segments. Always request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to verify ingredient safety.

Packaging is critical. Ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof barriers (such as aluminized film) and nitrogen flushing to prevent oxidation and extend shelf life. To prevent physical breakage, specify the use of corrugated export-standard outer cartons with internal dividers or bubble wrap. For high-fat content biscuits, temperature-controlled containers (Reefer) may be necessary to prevent melting or blooming.

You should clearly define the moisture content (typically <5%), shelf life (usually 12-18 months), and sensory attributes (texture, color, and flavor profile). Additionally, specify labeling requirements, ensuring all ingredients, allergens (like gluten, nuts, or dairy), and nutritional facts are printed in the target market's official language to meet local customs regulations.

Evaluate the supplier's automated production lines; high-end manufacturers use continuous tunnel ovens which ensure more uniform baking than batch ovens. Request a factory audit report or a video walkthrough of the facility to check for sanitation standards and pest control measures. A reliable supplier should offer pre-shipment samples from the actual production run for your approval.

The biggest risks are customs rejection due to non-compliant additives and shelf-life expiration caused by shipping delays. To mitigate this, cross-check your country's permitted food additives list against the product's ingredient deck. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released once shipping documents and quality certificates are verified.

Biscuit production is volume-sensitive due to raw material costs (flour, sugar, oil). Aim for tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 10-20% for full container loads (FCL) compared to LCL. If you require Private Label (OEM), expect a higher MOQ (e.g., 500-1,000 cartons) to cover the costs of custom-printed packaging film.

Choose FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over the shipping timeline and costs. Ensure the supplier provides a Health Certificate and a Phytosanitary Certificate if required by your local authorities. Always include a 'Best Before' date on the packing list to expedite customs inspection and ensure the goods are prioritized for clearance.

Always conduct transactions through reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com, utilizing their Audit Reports to verify the supplier's legal status. Use Escrow-based payment methods or Letters of Credit (L/C) for large orders to protect your capital against non-delivery or sub-standard quality.
