Hyundai brake booster manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize OEM compatibility by verifying the specific Hyundai part number (e.g., 59110-series) to ensure a perfect fit. Key technical parameters include the booster diameter (measured in inches), the diaphragm type (single or tandem), and the master cylinder mounting stud spacing. Ensure the housing is made of high-grade treated steel with anti-corrosion coating to withstand harsh engine bay environments.

As a critical safety component, the supplier must hold IATF 16949:2016 certification, which is the global standard for automotive quality management. Products should also comply with ISO 9001 and regional safety regulations such as DOT (Department of Transportation) for the US market or E-Mark (ECE R13) for the European market to ensure the vacuum seals and pressure thresholds meet legal safety requirements.

Request a performance test report from the manufacturer covering vacuum leak tests, input/output force ratios, and cycle life testing (typically requiring a minimum of 500,000 to 1,000,000 strokes without failure). It is highly recommended to order a pre-shipment sample to test the pedal feel and response time on a test vehicle or specialized hydraulic bench.

Brake boosters vary significantly between Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, which use engine vacuum, and Electric/Hybrid vehicles, which may require electronic brake boosters (e-Boosters). Ensure the supplier distinguishes between Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) configurations, as the vacuum pipe orientation and mounting brackets often differ.

The biggest risk is product mismatch due to slight variations in regional vehicle builds. Another risk is shipping damage to the delicate internal diaphragm or vacuum check valve. To mitigate this, ensure the supplier uses custom-fit foam packaging and reinforced double-wall cartons. Always use Trade Assurance services on platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until quality is verified.

Focus on tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than single orders. Negotiate for a 12 to 24-month quality warranty, which is standard for premium aftermarket parts. Ask the supplier if they offer private labeling (OEM/ODM) services, which can increase your brand value. For large orders, aim for a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L).

Brake boosters are relatively heavy and bulky; therefore, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical method for bulk orders. Ensure the HS Code (typically 8708.30) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect tariff applications. Verify if your country has specific anti-dumping duties or import permits required for automotive safety components.
