Hair extension display manufacturers

For premium displays, prioritize high-transparency acrylic (PMMA) with a thickness of at least 3mm to 5mm to ensure structural stability. If selecting wooden stands, ensure they are solid wood or high-density fiberboard (HDF) with a moisture-proof coating to prevent warping. For metal components, electroplated stainless steel is preferred over spray-painted iron to avoid rusting and maintain a luxury aesthetic.

The display must match the specific attachment method. For clip-in extensions, look for horizontal bars with anti-slip silicone strips. For weft or tape-in extensions, choose displays with integrated combs or fine-tooth grippers that allow the hair to hang naturally without tangling. If the display includes LED lighting, ensure it uses high CRI (Color Rendering Index) bulbs (Ra>90) to accurately represent hair colors like platinum blonde or balayage.

Ensure the acrylic materials meet REACH or RoHS certifications to guarantee they are free from harmful chemicals. If the display includes electrical components (LEDs), it must have UL, CE, or SAA certification depending on your target market. For floor-standing units, verify stability testing reports to ensure the center of gravity prevents tipping in high-traffic retail environments.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. You should request laser-engraved or silk-screened logos for brand consistency. For scalability, look for modular designs that allow you to add more hooks or tiers as your inventory grows, which reduces the need for purchasing entirely new units.

Acrylic and glass displays are highly fragile. You must mandate 5-layer corrugated export cartons and custom-fit EPE foam packaging. For bulk sea freight, request palletization with plastic wrap to prevent moisture ingress and shifting. It is highly recommended to purchase cargo insurance and include a 'fragile' handling clause in your contract.

Start by requesting a pre-production sample to verify the finish quality and weight-bearing capacity. Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price; ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 100, 500, 1000 units). If you are a repeat buyer, negotiate for 30/70 payment terms (30% deposit, 70% upon presentation of the Bill of Lading) to improve your cash flow.

Identify the correct HS Code (typically 3926.90 for plastics or 9403.70 for furniture) to determine the duty rate in your country. Ensure the supplier provides a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin. For US buyers, be aware of Section 301 tariffs if sourcing from China, and factor these costs into your landing price calculation.

Always conduct transactions through secure payment channels provided by the platform. Utilize third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Final Random Inspection (FRI) before the balance payment is made. This ensures the goods match the approved sample in terms of material thickness, color, and quantity.
