China byd mirror price manufacturers

When sourcing BYD mirrors, the most critical factor is matching the exact OEM part number or the specific vehicle model and year (e.g., BYD Han, Tang, Atto 3, or Dolphin). You must verify if the mirror requires integrated electronic functions such as electric folding, heating/defrosting, blind-spot detection (BSD) indicators, or 360-degree camera housing. For B2B buyers, it is recommended to request a compatibility list from the supplier to ensure the mounting base and wiring harness connectors match the target vehicle's specifications.

High-quality mirrors must use automotive-grade ABS plastic for the housing to ensure UV resistance and impact strength. The glass should be chrome-plated or silver-plated to provide a clear, anti-glare reflection. Ensure the product meets ECE R46 (European standard) or CCC (China Compulsory Certification) for safety. For smart models, the motor durability should be tested for at least 10,000 folding cycles to guarantee long-term reliability in various weather conditions.

The price of a BYD mirror is highly dependent on its complexity. A basic manual mirror may cost significantly less than a fully loaded smart mirror with cameras and sensors. For bulk procurement, suppliers on Made-in-China.com typically offer tiered pricing; for instance, orders exceeding 100 units can see a price reduction of 15-25%. Always factor in the packaging cost, as mirrors are fragile and require reinforced EPE foam and thickened corrugated boxes to prevent breakage during transit.

These mirrors are primarily sourced for the aftermarket repair industry, insurance claims, and specialized tuning shops. To maintain the mirror's lifespan, users should avoid manual folding of electric mirrors to prevent internal gear damage. For mirrors with hydrophobic coatings, cleaning should be done with pH-neutral detergents to avoid stripping the protective layer that ensures visibility during rain.

The biggest risks are logistical damage and functional incompatibility. Because mirrors contain glass and sensitive electronics, you should insist on Third-Party Inspection (TPI) before shipment to verify the 'plug-and-play' functionality. Additionally, ensure the supplier provides Insurance for fragile goods to mitigate financial loss during sea or air freight.

Focus on long-term partnership potential rather than just the initial unit price. Ask for a sample fee rebate on your first bulk order. Negotiate for spare parts (like mirror glass or covers) to be included at a discount, which adds value to your inventory. Using Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services can also provide leverage by ensuring payment is only released upon proof of shipment.

Automotive parts often fall under specific HS Codes (e.g., 7009.10 for rearview mirrors) which may carry different tariff rates. Ensure your supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to potentially benefit from trade agreements. For shipping to countries with strict safety regulations, ensure the E-mark or DOT stamp is clearly visible on the product to avoid customs seizures.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have undergone on-site factory inspections. Check their export history to your specific region to ensure they understand local compliance. Always use formal Proforma Invoices (PI) that clearly state the warranty period (ideally 12-24 months) and the specific return policy for defective electronic components.
